Where Can I get Help for Domestic Violence?
If you are the victim of domestic violence contact an experienced family law attorney to help you request a temporary restraining order from the Family Court (714) 665-6600.
A domestic Violence temporary restraining order is a court order you obtain at the Family Law Superior Court against a person who you are married or related to or had a dating relationship with.
The restraining order can be obtained if you are in fear of or have experienced physical, verbal, sexual abuse, harassment, stalking or if your significant other has made credible threats of harm to you or your children.
The family court will not ask about your residency within the State of California. Do not be afraid to seek help from the family court.
